Well, today is a bittersweet day – the last day I will post on the blog – for awhile. So let’s enjoy the final bow again from the recital just one last time. After watching it, it made me want to be with those dancers all over again! They are such a joy! Thank you, once again, for sharing them with us!
And here is the information for Miss Leah’s summer dance camps. They will be held in the Immanuel Lutheran Church basement located at 204 N. 10th Street, Watertown (use the handicapped entrance). We hope to see many of you there!
Princess Dance Camp (3-5 year old dancers) — $95
10:30 a.m. – noon, Monday-Fridays
During this two-week camp, dancers will hear fairytales and learn classical ballet techniques to songs that go with the stories. After dance class, campers will enjoy a snack and will then make projects that all princesses will love – like fairy wands and tiaras! The cost includes snacks and art supplies. On the final day of camp, the dancers will put on a delightful fairy performance for family and friends.
Summer Dance Camp – (6 years and older) — $95
1:00-2:30 P.M., Monday – Friday
During this two-week camp, campers will experience all kinds of dancing styles to fun summer beach songs! They will learn classical ballet techniques, dance with grass skirts and leis to Hawaiian music, and have fun learning jazz and Hip Hop too! The camp also includes snacks and fun art projects such as friendship bracelets, beading, and purses and, of course, an awesome performance at the end of the camp for family and friends.
Until then — I hope you dance — ALWAYS!!
Miss Leah
