We are very excited to bring another season of Fairytale Ballet to the Watertown area!  We are very happy to report that all of the classes are filling up, and we will be ready to start on Monday, January 12.  Your teacher, Miss Leah, is excited to share her love of dance with the dancers.  Her mother, Kris, will be on hand to help with the classes and will be available to answer any questions you may have as well.  She will also be taking photos of the dancers and will feature “Dancers of the Week” on our brand new blog!  So, please bookmark this site as one of your “Favorites,” and check back often to see what’s new with Fairytale Ballet.

It’s very important that parents keep up with this site, as it will have all of the information that you will need.  In the coming weeks, we’ll post about what the dancers are learning, what parents need to know, and will also feature contests, trivia and fun questions for both the dancers and parents to answer on Thursdays and Fridays.  It’s a fun and wonderful way for us (and the dancers) to get to know each other, and for you to give us feedback, since it is very difficult to do this during rehearsals.

At the first rehearsal on Monday, we will have a form for you to fill out, and you can tell us if you would like your daughter to participate in our “Dancer of the Week” portion of the blog, and if you are or are not interested in having your daughter’s photograph put up on the blog.  Of course, we understand either way.

Be sure to read the “Class Procedures” section of this site for guidelines on how to dress your young dancers for rehearsal.  Other important “housekeeping” information that will help all of our classes run smoothly can be found in the Rehearsal Procedures and Location section.  We are also excited about plans for our Spring Tea Party/Dance Recital, tentatively scheduled for April 28.  You can read about it here.
